The world is an unprecedented tapioca drink boom. I have found tapioca with the best texture at KALDI Coffee Farm, which I would like to recommend to those who want to eat delicious tapioca without compromising at home.
"Home Tapioca" sold by Tapioca Express is a set of domestic tapioca and a special straw. Tapioca, which is generally sold, is dried for long-term storage, so it takes a long time to put it back, but since it is a raw type , it can be eaten within an hour after it is boiled.
There is no need to rehydrate with water, just put it in boiling water and heat it for 20 minutes. Cover and steam for 20 to 30 minutes, then soak in running water to complete.
Boiled tapioca is clearly more elastic than Punipuni, chewy and dried tapioca! It has a slight brown sugar-like sweetness and can be enjoyed as it is.
By the way, black tapioca is milk tea, but this time we will introduce two types of drink recipes to fully enjoy the raw tapioca. Please refer to it when you want to change your mood.
■ Hojicha latte
Hojicha latte, which has become popular in recent years, at home. Put 2 tea bags of roasted green tea and 50 ml of water in a small pot and simmer until boiling, then add 150 ml of milk and sugar and mix until just before boiling.
After removing the heat, put tapioca and ice in a glass (if you are worried about the tea leaves, use a tea strainer). You can adjust the amount of sugar to your liking, but sweetening is recommended when adding tapioca.
■ Matcha shake
Matcha that goes well with tapioca with a shake that is perfect for the hot season. Simply mix your favorite green tea ice cream and milk with a blender or hand blender.
Adjust the amount of milk from half the amount of ice cream to your liking. The mellow and smooth shake and the harmony of chewy tapioca are irresistible ♪
"Tapioca at home" that you will be captivated once you eat it. It's often out of stock at KALDI stores, but if you're lucky enough to see it, it's definitely a "buy"!
