Acerola, known as a fruit rich in vitamin C. But most of the things you usually see are processed products such as juice and gummies, right?

The other day, I found a rare fruit of "frozen acerola" at a business supermarket. I like acerola food, so I bought it somehow, but I was shocked by the unexpected taste, so I will introduce it.


The acerola of the business supermarket is made in Vietnam, contains 300g (10.58oz), and the price is 248 yen (excluding tax). It looks a lot like cherries.


The way to eat it is "while frozen or half-thawed", so if you leave it for a while and then try it ... it's completely different from the taste of acerola you've been eating! It's not particularly sweet or sour, and it tastes like diluted apples. That juice mainly tastes like sugar.


Also, the small fruit contains a few grape-sized seeds, which makes it difficult to spit it out. In this age when seedless fruits are becoming mainstream, I feel that it will not be accepted if they are sold normally.


Although it was refreshing, I personally found this to be an ant, so I thought it would be a good snack or dessert for vitamin supplementation. Also, if it's not a hassle to pick the seeds, a smoothie will be very delicious (it was hard to drink if you mixed the seeds together ...).
