A "cereal bar" that can be eaten with one hand and is useful as an energy charge or portable food when you are busy. It is also attractive that you can enjoy various textures and tastes with a single bite.

Products are being developed by various manufacturers, but recently I found a tool that I can make myself. Kai's "serial bar maker". The selling price on the official website is 648 yen (tax included and shipping not included). It looks interesting so I decided to use it!

The contents are two parts, the main body and the lid. There is a partition on the lid, so you can make 3 cereal bars at a time.



To use, just put the ingredients in order, heat in the microwave, stir and cool in the refrigerator. This time I tried a plain cereal bar with 45g (1.59oz) of fruit granola and 15g (0.53oz) of white marshmallow.

Put granola and marshmallow in this order in the main body and heat in a microwave oven (500W) for 1 minute.




Take it out and mix the contents quickly. I have to work while the marshmallows are soft, so 1 second is the game! However, if it hardens on the way, you can heat it in the microwave.



Once mixed, flatten the surface and press the lid from above.



When the heat is removed, cool it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour (2 hours at room temperature) to complete.

To remove it, remove the lid and twist the body lightly. If you do it roughly, the cereal bar will break, so be careful here.




Since it was made with Calbee's Frugra, the taste is almost Frugra, but the marshmallow adds a moderate sweetness and stickiness. It's a cereal bar! If you like, you can add chocolate and nuts, or change the cereal, and the recipe is endless. It's also recommended as a snack for vacationers as it can be eaten quickly while on the move or in a vehicle!
