Daiso Dunclip

After moving, the cardboard box containing things with the intention of "temporary storage" became a regular player. I think it's in every home. It's not too inconvenient if you take it out infrequently.

The point to be worried about is that the lid cannot be closed tightly. It's a light material, so it floats a little. Dust can get in from here, and things can get caught while organizing.

A convenient item that solves this problem is the "Dunk Lip" found at 100 Daiso. A clip exclusively for cardboard lids.

Seen from the side, it looks like a katakana "e". It is a mechanism to insert and fix the cardboard lid from the left and right here.

The underside of the clip is wavy, and the inserted cardboard is firmly fixed. The corresponding cardboard thickness is up to about 3 mm.

When opening, slide the clip and pull it out from the edge of the lid so that the cardboard will not be damaged. It's okay to damage it separately, but if it breaks or tears, it will be difficult to close it with a clip.

Alternatively, it may be easier to remove by using two dunk clips to stop both ends of the lid.

Clipping the lid makes it easier to stack things, and the "feeling of using it in a hurry" is wiped out, giving it a formal storage feel. If you are using cardboard in your closet, why not take it in?
