"Yellow Water Melon Juice" is newly added to the Chaba lineup this year! I was curious, so I drank and compared it with other lineups.


This time, I got 4 kinds of 180ml (6.09us fl oz) pack "Yellow Watermelon Juice", "Watermelon Juice", "Clear Banana Water" and "Coconut Water" (Ito-Yokado Limited Sale). The price is about 150 to 200 yen. All of them are characterized by the natural flavor of fruits without using flavors, sugar or colorings.

What is the difference between the two colors of watermelon?

The red watermelon is not blue and fresh! Compared to Japanese ripe watermelon, the sweetness is modest, and a small amount of lemon juice leaves a refreshing aftertaste.

On the other hand, yellow watermelon has a sweetness close to that of melon, and is creamy and mellow. Even the same watermelon has a completely different taste, so I wondered if it would be more enjoyable if you drink and compare them at the same time.

Banana with a refreshing aftertaste is delicious

My personal favorite is clear banana water. Using 57% fruit juice, the sweet and sourness of the banana was strong, but the aftertaste was not sticky and it had a light taste. It feels like water without making you thirsty after drinking.

Coconut has plenty of local feeling

Coconut water is the taste of that local coconut juice that you drink with a straw in the coconut nut. It has a sweet scent of coconut, but almost no sweetness, and it comfortably moisturizes the throat. It is recommended to cool it down and drink it.
