Two new products that are easier to wash and open are now available in Thermos' Vacuum Insulated Soup Jar. It will be on sale from September 1st.

■ Thermos Vacuum Insulated Soup Jar (JBX-500)
A hearty 0.5L size soup jar for people who want to eat a lot. The stainless steel thermos structure with high heat and cold insulation keeps the delicious temperature until lunch time. The wide mouth shape makes it easy to eat large ingredients, and it is also easy to put your hands firmly in and wash. The lid uses Thermos' original 2-piece structure and is compatible with dishwashers.



The outside of the lid has been redesigned to have an uneven shape to make it easier to open and close, improving the grip. The packing inside the outer lid has been changed to a larger size, reducing the risk of losing it during cleaning. In addition, the bottom of the inner lid has become flat, improving ease of washing.

There are two colors, standard red and navy, which are easy to use for both men and women. The suggested retail price (excluding tax, the same applies below) is 5,000 yen.

■ Thermos Vacuum Insulated Soup Jar (JBT-300 / 400/500)
A soup jar that uses a newly designed "click-open structure". The conventional product requires a two-step operation of pushing the upper lid and turning it, and then turning the lower lid to open it, and there were voices saying that it is difficult for children. The "click-open structure" adopted this time is a mechanism in which the click structure releases the pressure inside when the lid is turned a little. As a result, the operation is the same as the normal opening method, and it is easier to open.


The design has a simple and stylish look like a canister while maintaining a wide mouth that is easy to eat and wash. The stainless steel thermos structure keeps the delicious temperature and you can carry various foods from hot soup to cold dessert. The lid is hygienic because the parts are separated and can be removed finely and washed everywhere.

There are three types of capacity: a compact size of 0.3L that is convenient to carry, a satisfying capacity of 0.4L, and a generous and big size of 0.5L. Color development varies depending on the capacity, and you can choose from light pink, white, black, etc. The suggested retail price is 4,500 yen for the "JBT-300", 5,000 yen for the "JBT-400", and 5,500 yen for the "JBT-500".



At the same time as the above products, the "Thermos Soup Jar Pouch (RES-001 / RET-001)", which increases the heat retention of the soup jar and is useful for carrying around, will be renewed and released. It is a soft fabric with a good texture. "RES-001" is available in three colors: light pink, light blue, and navy. There are two types of "RET-001", black and beige. The suggested retail price is 2,000 yen each.
