Making a felt coaster with Daiso
Coasters and pots with colorful felt balls that you can find in Scandinavian general stores. The interior looks great in the cold winter, but if you have the authentic ones, the price will be reasonable.
This time, I will try to make such a felt ball style coaster at low cost. We use a product called "decoration balls" that you can buy at the 100-yen shop "Daiso". Even if you make one coaster, the ball has a large capacity, and the price is of course 100 yen (excluding tax).
A great value "decoration ball" with plenty of it
The material is polyester, but the warm texture is similar to felt. The diameter is also available from 1 cm to 2.5 cm, and you can choose according to the application such as miscellaneous goods and accessories.
Not as dense as a felt ball, but also elastic
Normally, the balls are made by connecting them with a needle and thread, but large balls can be connected with an adhesive such as a glue gun (the strength is not so high). If you are not good at sewing, you can also stick it on a round cork coaster.
