P&G will launch Ariale Power Gel Ball, a new gel ball-type detergent that is neither powder nor liquid, in late April, and Bold Puru-Punto Gel Ball in mid-July.

The gel ball detergent is a new form of detergent in which a single laundry load of gel detergent is sealed in a unique new film material.


The gel detergent is sealed inside a water-soluble film called "Magic Film," which contains a new "Water Activated Formulation" that lowers the water content and super-concentrates the detergent ingredients. This enables a high concentration of active detergent ingredients to be blended, and a high cleaning power is achieved with a single grain.

In addition, the convenience of simply picking up a single grain and placing it in the washing machine with a finger eliminates the hassle of measuring and refilling to prevent spills, which was unavoidable with conventional detergents.
