"Kuma no Ko Ufu" by Toshiko Kanzawa has been republished to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its birth. The original teddy bear of "Kuma no Ko Ufu" in collaboration with Germany's finest stuffed animal brand "Steiff" will also be on sale.

The "Kuma no Ko Ufu" series (Poplar Publishing Co., Ltd.) is a story in which you feel the joy of living with your whole body and seriously think about the wonders of life. Since its publication in 1969, it has been read in various forms, including elementary school textbooks.


Celebrating more than 50 years since its birth, a new series of "Kuma no Ko Ufu" has appeared. "Kuma no Ko Ufu no Monogatari" that can be read from the lower grades of elementary school and "New Edition Kumanoko Ufu's Children's Story Collection" for middle and upper grades of elementary school will be published sequentially from November 2020.
