Verish launches the world's first cosmetic ingredient

" Verish (Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture; President: Harumasa Ueshima) has developed the world's first cosmetic ingredient extracted from Kiyomi oranges produced in Ehime Prefecture through a 15-year joint project with world-famous hair and makeup designer Yoshinori Shichijo. Legend Shampoo, which uses this ingredient, is now available.

The mild climate and beautiful natural environment of Ehime Prefecture provide the perfect conditions for growing citrus fruits such as the

Kiyomi

orange. 15 years ago, Verish President Ueshima and world-renowned hair and makeup designer Yoshinori Shichijo discovered the potential hidden in the peel of the Kiyomi orange and began developing cosmetic ingredients from this fruit. They have been exploring ways to use the peel as a cosmetic ingredient. The result is a new cosmetic ingredient called "Citrus Unshiu/Aurantium Pericarp Water.

Collaboration with an award-winning designer

Mr. Yoshinori Shichijo has received numerous awards for his 36 years of research in hair chemistry and for his work at fashion events in Japan and abroad, including the Paris and Tokyo Collections. Mr. Shichijo's extensive knowledge and experience in this project were essential to the success of the development of new cosmetic ingredients.

Aiming for Environmental Friendliness and Community Contribution

The newly developed "Citrus unshiu/Aurantium Pericarp Water" contains multiple active ingredients, including more than 30% α-terpineol. Through this project, Verish aims to contribute to the utilization of the region's rich natural resources and the development of a sustainable beauty industry.
