Nitori developed this za-chair to make sitting for long hours playing games less tiring, in the hope that people will enjoy their time at home more comfortably. We aimed for comfort not only when enjoying hobbies, but also when working on a computer, such as teleworking.

The posture for working on a computer and playing games may seem similar, but they are different. When working on a computer, a wide table is necessary to hold the computer, and it is important to keep an appropriate distance from the screen to the eyes.


On the other hand, for those who concentrate on gaming, table space is not a high priority as long as the table can accommodate a portable game console. Many people expressed the need to be able to freely adjust their posture to focus on the game screen, such as being able to support their neck in a straight line.


To meet both of these needs, we came up with the idea of an attached cushion that can be moved freely. When the cushion is placed on the knees, it can be used as an extension board for the table surface, allowing a wider space for the computer. It can also be supported under the elbows to reduce the burden on the shoulders. The backrest and table are each adjustable to 14 reclining positions, allowing you to adjust the angle to the appropriate screen position for stress-free computer work.

Since its launch exclusively on Nitori Net in December 2021, cumulative sales of the series have exceeded 20,000 units. It has been well received not only for gaming, but also for use in various situations such as teleworking, studying, watching TV, sleeping, and relaxing with feet up.


This time, in response to requests for more color variations, six new colors have been added for a total of 10 colors. Interviews were conducted with viewers on "Nitori Live," a customer-participatory live commerce site, regarding their desired colors. Based on the results and internal questionnaires, "beige," "black," "yellow green," "orange," "light blue," and "brown" were newly developed.
