Magdim Mukhametshin, a Los Angeles resident, has developed the ultimate smartphone, iCups. He is currently seeking investors on the crowdfunding site kickstarter. If the funding is successful, the product is expected to ship in December 2014, in time for the purchaser's Christmas gift. The price is $7. Shipping to Japan will cost an additional $10.

The iCup is a smart string phone made of a paper cup made of the highest quality paper, tied with a beautiful string for efficient sound conduction, and sold with an Apple-like logo and packaged in an Apple product-like box.


Some might think that Apple would never allow such a thing. But Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is very pleased with the iCups.




iCups" is very simple to use. Just speak into the cup and use it. After speaking, just put the cup to your ear and you can hear the other person's voice.
