Magdim Mukhametshin, a Los Angeles resident, has developed the ultimate smartphone, iCups. He is currently seeking investors on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. If the funding is successful, the product is expected to ship in December 2014, in time for the purchaser's Christmas gift. The price is $7. Shipping to Japan will cost an additional $10.

The iCup is a smart phone made of a paper cup made of the highest quality paper, tied with a beautiful string for efficient sound conduction, and sold in an Apple-like box with an Apple-like logo.

Some might think that Apple would never allow such a thing. But Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is very pleased with the iCups.

The operation of iCups is very simple. Simply speak into the cup. After speaking, just put the cup to your ear and you can hear the other person's voice.

The iCups' overwhelming advantage over the iPhone is its battery, which iPhone users must constantly worry about how long it will last. With iCups, however, the battery is not needed and the device can be used almost forever. Developer Mukhametshin says this is a miracle.

The "iOS" operating system for the iPhone had many reported problems with "iOS 8.0.1" and Apple withdrew the update. However, "iCups" do not suffer from OS update problems. Nor do they suffer from NSA eavesdropping problems. And if you get thirsty, you can pour a Coke or beer into the iCups and use them as regular cups. This is a revolutionary feature that the iPhone will never be able to duplicate.

iPhone fans and Android smartphone fans sometimes argue about the superiority of their own smartphones, which sometimes leads to fights. iCups" is also useful in such cases. If you offer "iCups" at the scene of a fight, it is sure to bring a smile to everyone's face.
