The new brand "Juhachi Nichi", which handles only domestic essential oils, began to be offered in December. Products can be purchased at the company's online shop.


According to the brand, more than 90% of the essential oils currently sold in Japan are foreign. On the other hand, Japan also has its own wonderful scent, and it seems that it was launched with the desire to spread such a scent.


The initial lineup includes 14 types of scents, including forest scents such as "hinoki" and "hiba", as well as scents familiar to Japanese people such as "yuzu" and "ginger". In the future, it will increase to dozens of types and aim to export to overseas.

Shuhei Tominaga is the brand director who handles package design. A special wooden diffuser developed by him is also available.
