It is attached to a wall or door, and when the tail is pressed with a finger, the table is knocked with the beak. It seems that he aimed for a sound that is close to the original woodpecker, and instead of the sound of "concon" that is struck by hand, it reverberates in small steps. It's cute even if you attach it to a children's room or line it up in a corridor such as a school.



The product was invented by Takuya Osawa, who attends the Shibaura Institute of Technology Graduate School. The sound of woodpeckers making trees was inspired by the fact that it is also a means of communication between friends. It was selected as a 2014 prize-winning work in the industry-academia collaboration competition "MUSABI Product Design Competition" and has recently been commercialized.
