The stationery "mati mati" series, which utilizes "actual map data" for design, will be released today (January 15) by the map production company Zenrin. It will be sold in the lofts of the Tokyo metropolitan area and Fukuoka prefecture, and will be rolled out at other stores from February.
There are four types of lineup: clear files, masking tape, notepads, and bookmarks. Designs for each of the four areas of Tokyo / Marunouchi, Omotesando, Kichijoji and Fukuoka / Tenjin are prepared, and it seems that the characteristics of each area such as "cat" for Kichijoji and "bus" for Tenjin are also reflected.
・ Clear file "3 LAYER mati FILE" (380 yen each, all tax excluded)
A4 size clear file. With a 3-pocket structure that resembles the "layer structure" of the Zenrin map database, a map is completed when four sheets overlap.
・ Masking tape "STREET MEMO TAPE" (430 yen each)
Wide masking tape with the motif of famous streets in each area. You can write a message in the street part.
・ Notepad "MAP WRAP NOTEPAD" (380 yen each)
B5 wide, square notepad. There are two types of inner paper, "day color" and "night color". As it can be separated, it can be used for stationery and wrapping.
・ Bookmark "TOWN STORY BOOKMARK" (400 yen each)
A pictogram (intuitive figure) that images the characteristics of the city is used as a bookmark. The mount can be used as a greeting card.
A team of female employees in their 20s and 30s worked on product development. It is said that they will continue to announce new products with the concept of "I want to create opportunities for people to communicate through products with the theme of the city." Even for the author (female in her 30s) who was looking at the map book endlessly when she was a child, all the items are very addictive. I would also like to expect a mountain version full of contour lines.
