KALDI Coffee Farm has a wide selection of ingredients from around the world. This time I found a Chinese sweet "moon cake" so I tried it.

A set of 2 mooncakes where you can enjoy 2 types of bean paste, lotus seeds and black sesame walnuts. It is a small size that is perfect for tea time. The price is 298 yen (tax included).



The lotus seed paste has a chewy texture like chestnuts. You can enjoy rich sweetness and unique flavor. A taste that is hard to find except for Chinese sweets.


The rich sesame taste of black sesame walnuts is impressive! The full fragrance spreads in your mouth. A tailoring that is irresistible for sesame lovers, whose moderate sweetness enhances the richness of sesame. The walnut accent is also good.


The skin seems to have nothing to mention, but all of them are more authentic than I imagined! If you like mooncakes, it's worth a try. If you don't feel like Japanese sweets or Western sweets, why don't you change your eyes and pick it up? It goes well with green tea as well as coffee and tea.
