Unexpectedly dirty eco bag

There are various materials for eco-bags, such as nylon, cotton (cloth), linen, and cold-packed bag types, but the basic concept of care is the same. If "food juice" is attached to the product when shopping, or if "food waste" or "vegetable mud" accumulates, it can cause odors and mold. Even if it is not visually dirty, it is recommended to take regular care because germs may grow if it is left damp.

Easy care

If you don't see any visible stains but want to keep them clean, simply wipe them off.

1. 1. Wipe the entire outside and inside of the eco bag with a clean table cloth or paper sprayed with a clean table spray. It may cause discoloration, discoloration, stains, or the waterproofing may be lost, so it is necessary to try it in an inconspicuous place. When spraying, do not spray directly on the bag, but always spray on paper or a clean cloth before wiping.

2. Hang it on a hanger to dry it, or wipe it off with dry paper so that it does not remain damp.

How to wash a "washable" eco bag

First, check the handling label of the eco bag to see if it can be washed. Even if there is no handling label, you can wash it if the product tag or the store (mail order site, etc.) says "washable".


If it is marked as "not washable at home", or if there is no mention of washability, or if you are not sure if it can be washed, do not wash and only clean the dirty parts. If you can wash it at home, wash it in the washing machine or by hand according to the handling instructions.

Before washing the dark eco bag, it is safe to check the color fading in advance. Apply the undiluted solution of laundry detergent to an inconspicuous place, press it with a white cloth after 5 minutes, and wash it alone if it becomes colored.

When washing in the washing machine

Put it in the laundry net and wash it so that it does not get entangled or caught in other laundry.

For hand washing

1. 1. Pour water of 30 degrees or less into a washing tub or wash bowl, and dissolve a concentrated type liquid detergent with high detergency or a fashionable detergent to make a washing liquid.

2. Repeat submerging and floating the eco bag 20 to 30 times for gentle pressing and washing.

3. 3. Replace with clean water and rinse in the same way as pressing and washing. For materials that are difficult for water to pass through or that have been processed, apply running water directly to rinse them thoroughly.

Four. Lightly dehydrate in the washing machine. Dehydrate shortly (within 1 minute) to avoid wrinkles and damage to the material.

How to dry to the middle

After dehydration, do not leave it to dry, but immediately dry it completely. If left wet, it may stain other things.


Before drying, turn the eco bag over, shake it all over, and then tap it gently with both hands to smooth out the wrinkles and shape it. Use a pinch hanger to dry it so that air can pass through it.

Care for "unwashable" eco-bags

Eco-bags that cannot be washed at home will only partially clean the areas where stains or stains are a concern.
