Twenty-six items from the "Hestage Collection" featuring the Swedish symbol "Dalarna Horse" are now available from IKEA Japan. The collection is available at IKEA stores nationwide and IKEA online store.

IKEA Hestage Collection

The Hestage Collection is based on the motif of the "Dalarna Horse," a carved wooden horse that originated in the Dalarna region of Sweden. The horse was an important companion for the Swedes when they were farming. Today, they are loved by Swedes as indispensable items for interior design and miscellaneous goods.

The Hestage collection includes 26 items that add a Swedish touch to the kitchen and living room items that are popular in Japan. The kitchen cloths and cushions have a single point of red, which is often used for "Dalarna Horse," and is said to make a lovely impact. Some designs combine birch patterns with blue and white, inspired by the rich nature and rivers of Scandinavia.
