When you go out in the garden or on the balcony on a sunny day, you may feel a bit buoyant. However, flowerpots installed in gardens and balconies remain still and do not move at all, even on sunny days when people are in a cheerful mood.

studio BAG disseny has developed "Voltasol" in response to such motionless flowerpots. This is a moving flowerpot.

Voltasol" is a flowerpot with a conical bottom. Whenever the wind blows, it spins around, showing the viewer that the plant is alive. The rotating flowerpot also allows the plants to receive sunlight from various directions, which promotes their growth.

According to the developers, "Voltasol" was inspired by sunflowers, which face the direction of the sun. It is unclear whether this is the reason or not, but sunflowers were also used in the testing of "Voltasol".
