When I think of Takaoka City, I think of Fujiko F. Fujio first, but it has been a city where manufacturing has been flourishing since the Edo period. The company originally manufactured and sold cooking utensils such as pots and frying pans, and is said to have developed a tree tray to let more people know the appeal of aluminum and alumite processing.
The tree tray is anodized to create a thin layer on the surface, making it more resistant to corrosion and scratches than unprocessed aluminum. High technology is required for processing, but the company seems to be carefully crafting it at its own factory in Toyama, covering the entire process.

There are three tray sizes: square (length 110 x width 220 x height 8 mm), oval (length 110 x width 220 x height 12 mm), and circle (length 120 x width 131 x height 8 mm). The price is 1,620 yen for square and oval, and 1,080 yen for circle (both including tax).

There are three color variations for each size: gold, dark gray, and silver. The shade is expressed by the type of alumite, not by painting or plating.
