Oral care maker Sangi has renewed its representative product, "Apaguard," to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its founding. It will be on sale from the end of September.

The renewed APAGUARD product lineup consists of three types: "standard type", "stain care type", and "premium type". The price is 1,280 yen (excluding tax) for 100g (3.53oz).


The mild mint flavored Apagard Smokin, which has no sweetness or spiciness, leaves no strange taste even after polishing and is refreshing. I've been feeling a little change since about a week after I started using it, so I took a picture two weeks later and compared it. There is no difference in color in the image, but when you see it with the naked eye, the surface becomes more transparent and the teeth look like a veil of light. I feel that the surface is smooth and smooth.

The ingredient "Medicated Hydroxyapatite [mHAP]" contained in APAGUARD has the function of adsorbing and removing plaque, filling invisible scratches, smoothing teeth and remineralizing initial caries. Or something. Furthermore, in this renewal, it seems that the pearl component (hydrolyzed conchiolin liquid), which is a natural substance extracted from pearls and pearl oysters, has been newly added to all products.
