
The Akamon Desk is an omni-directional desk developed through an industry-academia joint project by the Makino Laboratory of the Graduate School of Education at the University of Tokyo, and "just by sitting on it, ideas keep coming.

The new Akamon Desk mini is an entry-level model designed to be more compact using reinforced cardboard, while maintaining the design of the Akamon Desk. Lightweight and easy to move, it can be used widely in Japanese-style rooms, children's rooms, and living rooms.
A storage space made of sturdy two-layer reinforced cardboard is located in the center of the lower section on the left and right sides. The back side is firmly fixed with screws to prevent loosening characteristic of corrugated cardboard.

The main unit measures W800 x H800 x D800 mm, and optional items such as a desk mat, whiteboard sheet, and cork sheet are also available.
