TAKARATOMY will release "Play Watch", a wristwatch with a camera for children, on June 20th. The price is 7,980 yen (excluding tax). The target age is 6 years old and over.


Playwatch is a wearable gadget equipped with a wealth of functions such as clock function, video / photo shooting, voice recorder, and 3 types of games. There is no communication function such as internet connection or Wi-Fi, and it is designed for children, such as having a "parental control" function that limits the game time per day.


The 1.41 inch color touch panel can be operated with "swipe" and "tap" in the same way as a smartphone due to the capacitance method. The belt is made of a skin-friendly silicone material so that it can be worn for a long time without stress.


The size excluding the band is W50 x H50 x D18 mm. The storage capacity of images is 800, and the number of minutes that can be saved for videos is about 6 to 15 minutes (for movies only). Comes with a USB charging cable. There are four color variations: white, pink, blue, and purple.
