"Nameless Enogu" is a paint that depicts which of the three primary colors is contained in the tube, not the name of the color. The tube expresses that various colors can be obtained by combining the three primary colors of "cyan", "magenta", and "yellow". The aim is to help children understand that they can create their own colors by mixing the three primary colors, rather than swallowing the names given to them.

By eliminating the name of the color, you can get rid of the stereotypes such as "leaf is green" and "skin is skin color", and you can bring out the creativity to create your own color by mixing or diluting the color. To achieve this, transparent watercolors were used, which are less turbid when the colors are mixed.

"Nameless Enogu" is a work that won the grand prix at the product design competition "KOKUYO DESIGN AWARD 2012" sponsored by KOKUYO. At the time of the award, the authors Yusuke Imai and Ayami Mogi made the following comments on this work.
"There is a color called'light blue'. But the water coming out of the faucet is not that color. There is a color called'skin color'. But the shy cheeks of that child are redder. I felt it when I was young. I thought about this enogu from such a sense of incongruity. I create the color myself by mixing and diluting it. Children as well as adults should be fascinated by the fun. "
