The bar "Cat Bundan Bar Tsuki ni Barking", which has books related to cats, will open in Shinjuku, Tokyo on December 18th.


The store is the second store of "Petit Bundan Bar Tsuki ni Barking" (Shinjuku, Tokyo) with the concept of "revitalizing the publishing industry and supporting young writing". While following the concept of the first store, by narrowing down the books lined up in the store to cat-related titles, it will appeal not only to literary lovers but also to cat lovers.


At the time of opening, about 200 books such as novels, manga, and photo books will be lined up and can be viewed and rented. An example of the title is as follows.

In addition, original cocktails and snacks unique to the literary bar such as "royalties life" and "deadline eve" will be offered (charge 500 yen, drink 600 yen).

In the future, we plan to hold original menus related to cats, cat-related events as well as literature, and the "Cat Literature Award". There are no real cats in the store.

The store is located in Room A, 3rd floor, 1st Tamaya Building, 3-6-11 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. Business hours are from 19:00 to 24:00 (closed on Sundays and public holidays). 20 seats including counter and table.
