A general store "Meiso" (miniso) that operates mainly in China. A few years ago, it became a hot topic for various reasons such as suspicion of Pakuri (please search for more information), but it's about time that the world has forgotten. The other day, I passed in front of the Ikebukuro store, so I went in.


Fashion miscellaneous goods, daily necessities such as towels and storage items, and digital miscellaneous goods are sold in a store as small as a station shop. The price is said to be "200 yen and up", but it seems that it is not cheap because there are a lot of digital related items such as mobile batteries, Bluetooth speakers, and headphones that cost more than 1,000 yen.

All of them have pop colors and look like ordinary general stores. I would like to take care of casual bags and socks when something unexpected happens in Ikebukuro. I bought a product that I was interested in.


First of all, a hardcover notebook that looks just like a "Moleskine" notebook. Two books cost 300 yen, and similar ones can be found at 100-yen shops, but they are carefully equipped with pockets and are of very high quality. Although the bookmark is a little regrettable, it may be advantageous if you think that the price of the head family is 10 times or more.




In the unprecedented cat boom, a thick cat notebook (200 yen) was also sold. Chinese and hiragana are mixed on the cover. It's too thick and I'm worried about how to use it, but the inside is cute with the same design.


USB cable with LED light (300 yen). The brightness can be adjusted in 3 steps, and it can be bent and fixed at any angle.




Owl key chain (200 yen). A unique design that changes the look of the owl when it is attached to the wall and the key ring is removed. I really like this.



It seems that the store area is large and the product lineup is large in China, but it may not be enough to imagine a 100-yen shop in Japan. It was such an atmosphere that it was quietly open in a corner of Ikebukuro.
