The hostel "Train Hostel Hokutosei" equipped with the actual equipment of the Blue Train "Hokutosei" will appear in the building directly connected to JR Bakurocho on December 15th.


The theme of "Train Hostel Hokutosei" is "a hostel that makes your journey fun". The actual car parts of the bunk bed and private room sleeper were reused for the interior of the hostel, and a space that was particular about details was realized in a limited space.


One of the purposes of opening the hostel is to meet the diverse needs of the rapidly increasing number of foreign tourists visiting Japan. It is an accommodation facility where you can easily stay for a long time at a low price, corresponding to the various stay styles of foreign tourists visiting Japan.


An information booth for tourist spots has been set up in the facility to provide tourist information mainly in the Tohoku region. Through a simulated experience of traveling by "Hokutosei", we aim to encourage foreign tourists to travel to the eastern Japan area.
