KALDI Coffee Farm has a lot of rare domestic ingredients as well as imported ingredients. The other day, I found something called "eaten chili oil mentaiko" in the bottling corner.


Manufactured by Kanefuku, a long-established store of Mentaiko. I was curious, so I tried it!

Eat chili oil mentaiko

A rice companion with dice-cut mentaiko in chili oil. It also contains almonds, fried garlic, fried onions and sesame seeds.




Mentaiko that loosens when chewed. The rich umami and moderate spiciness spread in your mouth. The oil makes this mild and unstoppable.


It should be quite spicy, but it doesn't bother me so much while the taste of mentaiko is winning and tasting. But when I noticed, my tongue was comfortable and numb. something like that. Isn't it the spiciness that remains behind?



In addition to rice, you can also put it on ramen, fried rice, salad, cold tofu, etc. You can enjoy a different taste even if you match it with gyoza sauce!
