I would like to introduce the "butter stick" I found at the 100-yen shop Can Do because it was convenient. With the same structure as the glue stick case, it is an item that can be applied directly to bread by feeding out butter.



When disassembled, there are four parts. It consists of a lid, a case, a rotary table, and a rotating shaft.


First, cut commercially available block butter into sticks (about 3 x 3 x 12 cm). Set this on the rotary table, rotate the rotating shaft while holding it with the lid, and insert the shaft rod into the butter.





All you have to do is use it like a glue stick. When using, turn the rotating shaft to feed out the butter, and when finished using it, turn it in the opposite direction to retract it.



There are three advantages. The first is that you don't have to use a butter knife. There is no need to wash each time.


The second point is that the amount of butter is easy to adjust. Since it is spread directly, an appropriate amount of butter will reach every corner. If you apply it with a butter knife, it tends to be uneven, but there is no such thing.


The third is a place that does not take up space in the refrigerator. It can be stored upright on the refrigerator door together with seasonings.


The weak point is that the butter may float from the rotary table and be left behind when it is retracted. It doesn't matter if you push it in with the lid each time, but I feel the sweetness of making it. After that, the butter will still have bread crumbs, so it may not be suitable for those who care about it.
