The opening date and details of "BOOK AND BED TOKYO " (Ikebukuro, Tokyo), an accommodation facility for foreign tourists and domestic travelers visiting Japan with the concept of "a bookstore where you can stay", have been announced. Accommodation use will start on November 5, and the "day use plan" for lounge use only will start on November 9.

BOOK AND BED TOKYO is a facility where you can enjoy reading while staying on the bed embedded in the bookshelf. The book selection shop "SHIBUYA PUBLISHING & BOOKSELLERS" (Shibuya, Tokyo) is in charge of selecting books, and it seems that books for Japanese people are also available. It will not be sold.


Room rates start from JPY 3,500 per night on weekdays (excluding tax, 30 beds in total). Check-in time is 16:00 and check-out time is 11:00. There is also a shared toilet, shower room and free Wi-Fi.


The "day use plan" (13:00 to 19:00), which allows you to use only the lounge space without staying, is 1,500 yen (excluding tax). The number of seats is 8 and reservations are not possible. You can check the availability on official Twitter.
