KOKUYO released the IoT stationery "Shukudai Motivational Pen" on July 17th at the official online shop "KOKUYO Showcase". The target age is from the lower to middle grades of elementary school, and the price is 4,980 yen (excluding tax).

What is a motivated pen?

IoT stationery that can be used by attaching it to a commercially available pencil. By linking with a dedicated smartphone app, you can "visualize" your study efforts as "motivation power." When the motivation power is accumulated, the color of the LED changes, and it is a mechanism that you can get a game-like response such as growing plants in the app and getting items.



A tool that helps children want to keep up and help parents compliment their children. According to the preliminary monitor survey, about 80% of the respondents actually said that their children started to study at home, and about 90% said that they praised their children more often.
