Toho Leo's green interior brand PIANTA×STANZA will release a botanical candle called "torch," which is based on an alcohol lamp motif, on December 5th.


This product is an indirect light that combines three parts: a kokedama, a glass tank for storing water, and a base with a built-in LED light.

The kokedama comes with a watering rope and stabilizing hardware, and you can choose from four types of plants to suit the season, including Schefflera and Bat Plant. Watering the glass tank once means no watering is required for about a week, making it easy to maintain.


The base also has a built-in battery-operated "LED flickering light," which allows the light to pass through the water, creating a diffused light effect similar to that of a lampshade.


The lineup includes two sizes: M size, 13cm wide x 15cm high, and S size, 9cm wide x 11cm high (height does not include the plant). The prices are 14,500 yen for the M size and 12,000 yen for the S size (both excluding tax).

It will be on sale at the PIANTA×STANZA Showroom (Kayabacho, Tokyo) from December 5th, and will be available nationwide, including on the official website, from late January 2015.
