From Matsuyama Yushi's cosmetic brand "Leaf & Botanics," a renewal product of the "Junmai Sake" series and a new hair care series "Camellia" will go on pre-sale at Lofts nationwide and at Matsuyama Yushi's online store on December 20. The general release will be on February 13.

The Junmai Sake series to be relaunched includes a new cleansing cream (110g (3.88oz)/1,100 yen) and hand cream (65g (2.29oz)/1,100 yen). This series contains extracts of pure rice sake and sake lees from Ichinokura, a brewery in Miyagi Prefecture, as moisturizing ingredients, and is fragrance-free.


The Camellia series, on the other hand, focuses on camellia oil, which has long been used for hair care. All items in the Camellia series contain carefully selected Japanese camellia oil and extracts from the residue after the oil is squeezed out as ingredients that keep hair shiny.


In addition, the combination of plant-derived soap and mildly cleansing amino acid-based cleansing ingredients provides plenty of lather and a smooth feel to the fingers. The formula also reduces the creakiness and stiffness typical of soap shampoos, and is said to be suitable for damaged hair. The fragrance is a combination of natural essential oils of orange and jasmine, creating a "slightly sweet and refreshing" image.
