Do you know any "slovenly girls" around you who change into worn-out jerseys as soon as they get home, wear glasses and no face powder when they go out, and spend all day at home on weekends? According to a "Personality Questionnaire Survey" conducted by Ouchino Research Institute on 661 never-married women in their 20s and 30s, 80% of women are aware that they are "sloppy" or have had it pointed out to them.


According to the same survey, 80.2% of all respondents answered either "I consider myself to be sloppy" or "I have been pointed out by others to be sloppy. In addition, 25.3% of the respondents were "genuine" slovenly women, meaning that they had both of these qualities.


So, what kind of behavior is manifested in a loose personality? When asked to choose the most common behavior, 48.3% of the respondents said that they "open and close doors with my feet or move things around". Following closely behind were "not having any plans for the next day off and hanging around at home on holidays" (48.1%), "going out without any makeup" (46.8%), and "neglecting to remove unwanted hair" (45.8%).

Furthermore, the gap with meticulous girls seems to have widened for items such as "always saying 'it's a hassle' or 'I'll do it later'" and "having a messy bag or purse".


When asked if they have ever had trouble with their work because of their slovenliness, 13.8% answered "Yes. Similarly, when asked if they have ever failed at love, 10.8% said yes. Do you all hide your sloppy sides in official occasions? Even those who usually give the impression of being neat and tidy may have a different face at home...

The survey was conducted on April 2-3, 2015 among 661 never-married women aged 20-39. The survey method was via the Internet.
