A "payment book" made from the finest Japanese paper is on sale from Shinkodo for a limited time. The price is 120,000 yen per book.


A "payment book" is a book that requires you to pay the sutras on the proof that you paid the sutras at each temple when you make a pilgrimage to the 88 sacred sites in Shikoku. Shinkodo has sold it as a made-to-order product. This is the first time it has been sold to the general public.


That is not the only use of the "payment book". Various uses are possible depending on the idea, such as a signature book and a sumo wrestler's bill book. Since high-quality Japanese paper is used, it will be a good gift for foreigners who are interested in Japanese culture.
