On September 26th, the writing instrument specialty store "KINGDOM NOTE" will start selling "Tamba Matsutake" and "Kamo-nasu", new works of the original fountain pen "Kyoyasai series" bespoke by Sailor Pen.

This product is the second in the "Kyoto Vegetable Series" based on the slim type of the "Professional Gear" series by Sailor Pen. This is a new work following the first "Kagaya Pumpkin" and "Manganji Togarashi". The first one has a good reputation, and especially "Kagaya Pumpkin" is said to have sold out in about a week.


In this second installment, we created two types of Kyoto vegetables, "Kamo-nasu" and "Tamba Matsutake," which are in season in autumn. The first one was a bright color like summer vegetables, so he chose vegetables with a slightly calm color in autumn.


"Kamo-nasu" uses purple as the color of the trunk, neck, and hips. It is said that while expressing the transparent purple color of eggplant, it also expresses the essence of Kyoto. The cap is finished in dark purple, which is the image of calyx.

"Tamba Matsutake" has a brown buttock, neck and cap, and a light beige body cap. Rather than faithfully reproducing the colors of vegetables, he pursued beauty as a fountain pen.

The number of sales is 50 for each color, and the price is 19,440 yen (including consumption tax). It can be purchased at KINGDOM NOTE stores and online shops. The sales site in the online shop is scheduled to open at 20:30 on September 26th.
