The opening time and some details of the new theme area "SUPER NINTENDO WORLD" planned by Universal Studios Japan (USJ) have been announced. The opening time is scheduled to be before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD is an area with the theme of Nintendo characters and the world of games. It will be a huge complex area with ride attractions utilizing the latest technology and interactive areas, shops and restaurants, and the investment amount will exceed 50 billion yen.

In the area, many Nintendo characters who are "world-famous hits" are gathered, centering on the "Super Mario" series, which is loved by fans all over the world. You can enjoy the world of Nintendo games all day long with your five senses.

Nintendo's theme areas will open in Orlando and Hollywood, USA, and at three Universal Studios theme parks in Japan. Japan will be the first.
