"Diatomaceous earth coaster" designed by Hello Kitty has been released by Hiro Corporation. The list price is 300 yen each (excluding tax).

Diatomaceous earth is a fossilized deposit of diatom shells (phytoplankton, algae, etc.). It has fine holes on the surface and has excellent moisture absorption and desorption properties, so it is used for coasters and bath mats that want to keep it dry.

The "HELLO KITTY" version of the diatomaceous earth coaster released this time has a large Hello Kitty face on the top. You can choose from two types of shapes: "square type" (length approx. 100 x width approx. 100 x thickness approx. 9 mm) and "circle type" (diameter approx. 100 x thickness approx. 9 mm). There are three colors, white, pink, and blue.
