Mobile scissors without cap "Sakusa Poche"-Sliding type, can be cut quickly with one hand

From KOKUYO, a pen-type portable scissors "Sakusa Poche" without a cap has appeared. It will be on sale from February 12th. The manufacturer's suggested retail price (excluding tax) is 650 yen.

According to a survey conducted by KOKUYO on female junior and senior high school students in 2018, mobile scissors caps were worried that they had "rolled down and dropped" and "it is troublesome to put on and take off each time they are used." The "Sakusa Poche" to be released this time does not have a cap, and adopts a structure in which the blade comes out when the handle part is lightly pressed and slid. You can start cutting quickly with one hand, and there is no need to put on and take off the cap, and there is no need to worry about the cap falling or being lost.

By storing the blade inside the main body when not in use, it can be carried compactly. The "3D glueless structure blade" that minimizes the contact area inside the blade also features that it does not become sticky even when adhesive tape such as masking tape is cut.

It has a soft and easy-to-use shape like marshmallow, and there are 6 color variations: peach, aqua, lavender, white, mocha, and black. The external dimensions (when the blade is stored) are 110 mm in total length and 18 mm in width, the blade length is 42 mm, and the plate thickness is 1.2 mm.
