Restrooms that allow people to use the toilet while enjoying the view from outside are quite common in Japan in hotels, department stores, and office buildings. In such cases, the inside can be seen from the outside, but the outside cannot be seen from the inside.

However, a toilet that can be seen from the outside has appeared in Berlin, Germany, and has become a topic of conversation. The Daily Mail, a British media outlet, reported the news.

According to the Daily Mail, the restroom is located in the restaurant of the 25hours Hotel Bikini, a hotel in Berlin's popular Bikini Berlin. The hotel's walls are made entirely of glass, from the foot to the ceiling, so the restrooms are in full view from the outside. It would have been better if the hotel were a high-rise building, but this hotel is 10 stories high. Therefore, if people walking on the street in front of the hotel raise their eyes a little, they can see people using the toilets, even if they do not intend to do so.

The hotel took notice and put up a notice to warn people using the restrooms. However, the hotel has not yet devised a way to make the restrooms invisible from the outside. The hotel explains that the reason for this is to allow guests to enjoy the beautiful city of Berlin and the nearby Berlin Zoo while using the restroom.

A notice posted for restroom users reads as follows: "Please be careful.

Please be careful. It is not only the monkeys in the zoo that are watching you."
