A new living fair with the theme of "Hut," "Hut Exhibition Hall," will be held in Toranomon from October 4 to 14, 2012.

The "Hut Exhibition Hall" is an event where visitors can experience a life with huts in the same way as at a housing exhibition hall. Through the "hut," the prototype of a house, the exhibition will provide visitors with an opportunity to think about their own unique lifestyle and how to create a home freely. In this exhibition, the first of its kind in Japan, 14 huts built by 14 architects, contractors, and creators will be on display.

Among the huts to be exhibited, three caught the attention of the Ennouchi editorial staff. The first of these is the "Hitotatami House. This is a hut that can be taken camping or on picnics. It offers a slightly different "hut-like" feeling from tents and the like, and can be enjoyed at the beach or in the mountains. It can also be set up inside the house and used as a study or bed.

I'd like to see a sketch of the "One Tatami House" in person!

The second house is the "boathouse," an assembled wooden cabin from Canada. Despite its authentic construction, it is paneled and easy to assemble. The exterior is made of solid red cedar, so it blends in nicely with the garden.

This is a "trendy bar," right? It's more than just a shack, isn't it?

The third house is "In & Out & Go (No.). We hear that many fathers are creating "bathroom studies" by bringing books into the bathroom. In&Out&Go (No.)" is a full-fledged version of this hut. It is a toilet, a study, an office, and ...... also has a structure that says, "This is a toilet after all. If someone told me, "This is your father's study," I would think, "Wow, that's great! I would think "wow", but at the same time I would feel a little sad. At the same time, it makes you feel a little sad... It is a work that gives you such a mysterious feeling.

I'd like to see this in person, too!

During the event period, kitchen cars will come and offer a variety of lunches that change daily. You can enjoy a very unique menu, such as Papagaya Deli and Narumontai. The highlight here is the Mataginaldo, a deer boar burger.

It's gibier!
