It was Typhoon Haiyan (international name: Haiyan / Haiyan, Philippine name: Yolanda) that landed in the central part of the Philippines on November 8, 2013, which caused great damage to the Philippines. This typhoon caused many deaths and victims, and it is said that about 34 million coconut trees, which is equivalent to 10% of the whole Philippines, collapsed. As a result, many farmers have lost their livelihoods.

Cocowell started support activities on November 10, immediately after the typhoon next week, and then started the Cocowood project in March 2014. In the first place, local farmers rarely make tableware and miscellaneous goods from coconut trees, so Cocowell provided chainsaws and processing machine equipment, and also provided technical training in cooperation with the Philippine Ministry of Trade and Industry (DTI). In this way, the tableware / miscellaneous goods brand COCO no Ki was born.
COCO no Ki is characterized by its calm texture, and the lineup of the first product is as follows (all prices do not include tax).
