Duskin's hydroponic cultivation set rental service "Hydroponics Life" will be offered nationwide from April 6th.


Hydroponics is a cultivation method in which vegetables are grown only with water containing nutrients without using soil. Since vegetables can be grown and harvested consistently, they are attracting attention for their high safety and introduction at home as part of dietary education.

Hydroponic life is a service that rents out the main body of the hydroponic grower and regularly delivers the cultivation kit (cultivation sponge, seeds, liquid fertilizer) every 4 weeks. You don't have to go out to buy necessary equipment and seeds, and you can easily enjoy hydroponics at home.



You can choose from a total of 12 types of vegetables to cultivate, including leafy vegetables such as lettuce and salad vegetables, and herbs. It absorbs plenty of liquid fertilizer, and LED lighting instead of sunlight promotes photosynthesis, so it grows in about 3 to 4 weeks, which is faster than cultivating in soil.


The size of the hydroponic grower is W544 x D262 x H305 mm. The main body weighs about 5 kg, and when the nutrient solution is full, it weighs about 9 kg (the nutrient solution capacity is 4 L). Power consumption is 30W.


The service usage fee is 2,480 yen for the first year (1,500 yen for the cultivation device itself, 980 yen for the cultivation kit), and 980 yen for the cultivation kit price only after the second year.
