Bandai official shopping site "Premium Bandai" has started accepting reservations for "Mobile Suit Gundam Kutani ware", a Japanese tableware of Kutani ware that designed the world of the popular anime series "Mobile Suit Gundam".
This product was realized in collaboration with "Mobile Suit Gundam", which has celebrated its 36th year of TV animation broadcasting, and "Kutani ware", a traditional craft of Ishikawa prefecture that boasts a history of 360 years.
Kutani ware is characterized by a thickly raised and painted Japanese paint called "red, yellow, green, purple, navy blue" called Gosai on a black line drawn by Gosu. Among them, it seems that the famous scenes of Gundam are powerfully drawn with the representative styles of Kutani, Mokubei, Yoshidaya, Iidaya, and Shozo.
The lineup of items includes mugs, bowls, bean dishes, chopstick rests, blue Kutani-style sets, red Iidaya-style sets, and a complete set with all products. Prices range from 3,780 yen to 21,492 yen (tax included, same below).
The reservation acceptance period is until November 13. Shipping is scheduled for February 2016. From November 14th, it will be available at Gundam Cafe stores (Akihabara store, Odaiba store, Tokyo station store).
