The development concept of "mojoe" is "a coffee maker that can be carried anywhere". At first glance, it looks like a normal travel mug, but it has a function for making coffee inside.
No matter how good the beans are, the taste of good coffee will fade over time. Perhaps the best way to drink coffee is to put it in your coffee maker and drink it directly. The origin of "mojoe" development is to make it possible to do it anywhere.
However, it is difficult to carry a coffee maker with you. So, in "mojoe", we gave the coffee maker a travel mug body. With this body, you can carry it anywhere.
The inside of "mojoe" consists of three parts: a "water tank" for boiling water, a "dripper" for extracting coffee, and a "mug" for storing the extracted coffee. To make coffee, put water or hot water in a water tank and put ground coffee beans in a dripper. If you turn on the switch attached to the side of the main body in this state, the water in the tank will rise to about 93 degrees Celsius (200 degrees Fahrenheit) due to the battery and water vapor will be generated. The pressure of steam pushes down the water surface, moving hot water to the dripper and extracting coffee.
One dissatisfaction is the amount of coffee that can be extracted. Only 250 milliliters of coffee can be brewed in a single brew. It's not a small amount, but the "mojoe" looks like a 750ml (25.36us fl oz) class travel mug. I carry something of this size, but this is all? I'm likely to think.
The developer, MoJoe Brewing, is currently conducting a campaign to recruit investors on the crowdfunding site kickstarter for the commercialization of "mojoe". At the time of this writing, a $ 138 investment was available for the "mojoe" and battery pack. Shipment is scheduled for May 2016.
