Golden Week season with more opportunities to go out. I'm sure many people make their own bento boxes, but if you have children, you'll definitely love "cute" bento boxes.
I'm clumsy and I'm not good at morning, so it's absolutely impossible to decorate just a lunch box! I was thinking, but recently there seems to be a lot of kits for beginners, so I tried some.
This time, I used two types, "Komusubi Nyan!" And "Dobutsu Makiki", which I found at the Cookpad store. Both are manufactured by Ernest.
● If you have rice and glue, make it a kitten! "Komusubi Nyan!"
"Komusubi Nyan!" Is a kit that allows you to make palm-sized kitten rice balls. Inside is a rice ball type with a handle and a punch to pull out the glue.
If you scoop the rice with a mold and press it tightly, a cat-shaped rice ball will come out somehow.
Then, when you punch out the glue, a lot of small parts will come out, so I will stick it to the rice ball while referring to the sample. By the way, the author also has a 100% glue punch, but Komusubi Nyan is much more accurate . It feels good to get out of Basun!
When decorating, it's easier to use a wet toothpick. It is difficult to change the position once you put it on, so be careful here.
You can make white cats with white rice, and kittens with various coats with soy sauce and mixed rice. Once you get used to it, you can do it as quickly as you normally do when preparing your lunch.
● "Animal rice balls" that can make a wide variety of animal rice balls
"Animal Makiki" is a kit that allows you to make mini rice balls of various animals. This contains a rice ball type and 4 types of punching molds.
With this type, you can make a bale-shaped rice ball that is just the right size for your lunch box, so when you don't have time, the type alone is quite convenient.
After preparing the rice balls, remove ham, thinly baked eggs, cheese, etc. with an animal mold. If your eyes and mouth are still stuck, you can easily cut them with the tip of a kitchen knife.
To be honest, it's still a work that requires practice, but I was able to make it look like an animal, so I was really excited. Even if you are in trouble because your child is pressing for a deco-ben, why not take a break and practice?
The price of "Komusubi Nyan!" Is 1,298 yen, and that of "Dobutsu Makiki" is 1,080 yen (both including tax). You can purchase it at the Cookpad store.
