"Tap" is a keyboard developed by Tap Systems for smartphones / tablets that can be worn on a finger. If you attach it, you can enter characters accurately and at high speed without looking at your hands.
Voice input is expected as an input device for smartphones. However, it has problems such as the recognition rate drops in noisy places and it cannot be used in places where you should not talk, such as during a meeting. I'm not good at long sentences.
"Tap" is an input device that may solve these problems. Enables more accurate and faster input than smartphone virtual keyboards and voice recognition
The place to tap does not have to be a table or the like. For example, it can be a part of your body, so you can type when there is nothing around you. You can also enter by tapping the head.
"Tap" may expand the use of smart watches. Since the input method of smart watches is limited to voice recognition, many people use it only to display notifications from news sites and SNS. But when combined with Tap, smartwatches have the potential to evolve into input-capable devices.
When using it, hold the "Tap" in your hand as if you were wearing gloves. It can be worn with either the right or left hand. After that, if you move your finger, the sensor will detect the movement, and different characters will be input depending on the combination of the moved fingers.
How to move your finger when typing is a little complicated. For example, to enter "N", tap your thumb and index finger at the same time. If it is "T", you need to tap the index finger and middle finger, if it is "L", you need to tap the middle finger and ring finger, and if it is "S", you need to tap the ring finger and little finger at the same time. In addition, you have to remember all the various combinations, such as tapping with only one finger or tapping with three fingers at the same time.
Tap Systems has released a video for input practice, and if you train accordingly, you will be able to input in about an hour.
There are three sizes, L, M, and S. Use a micro USB cable for charging. The time required for one charge is about 3 hours, and the continuous operation time is 72 hours. We are aiming for release within 2016.
