Pilot's oil-based marker "Permanent marker"
Is it safe to forget to close the cap?

Pilot Corporation will release the oil-based markers "Permanent Marker 100" and "400" that use the newly developed "CSP ink" today (May 8). The price is 100 yen each (excluding tax).

This product is an oil-based marker that uses ink that does not easily volatilize even when the cap is left open. Since the additive mixed in the ink forms a film and covers the pen tip, it seems that you can write even if you remove the cap within 24 hours. A mechanism in which the film tears when the writing surface comes into contact with the pen tip, causing ink to come out.

There are two types of pen tips: a medium-sized round core (permanent marker 100) and a medium-sized flat core (permanent marker 400). There are three ink colors: black, red, and blue.
