Great success on a busy morning! I found a convenient item at Daiso, a 100-yen shop, that shortens the time for making bento boxes, so I bought it.

"Frozen side dish case No. 6" is a side dish case in which the remaining side dishes can be divided into cups and stored frozen. It is convenient for freezing the leftover side dishes of supper and filling them in a lunch box, or for pre-prepared storage.

Let's actually use the side dishes frozen in this case for lunch. Put a side dish cup (sold separately) in the case and fill it with the side dishes you want to freeze. The side dish case I bought is for No. 6, so I used the No. 6 cup.

The next morning, fill the bento box with the frozen side dishes. The side dishes inside are frozen according to the shape of the case, so it's easy to pick up with chopsticks and it's easy to pack in a bento.

I packed side dishes around 9 am and kept my lunch in the refrigerator during the day, but it was thawed well around noon. It can be packed frozen, so it can be used as an ice pack.

In a busy morning, using the "frozen side dish case" makes making lunch faster and easier. There are two case sizes, one for No. 6 and one for No. 8, so choose the one that fits your lunch box. The price is 108 yen (tax included) per piece.
