Introducing the "Green Tea Series," which is a blend of green tea and fruits and herbs in MUJI. It comes in 10 tea bag types and is available for 390 yen (tax included).
Green tea is often drunk straight in Japan. I was curious about the unusual combination of fruit and green tea, so I drank three types of tea: "Apple Green Tea," "White Peach Green Tea," and "Grapefruit Green Tea."
The base is organic tea leaves from Kagoshima prefecture (organic tea leaves). As far as the raw materials are concerned, fruits and peels are used as they are, and no sugar is used. If you steam it in boiling water for about 1 minute and extract it, the scent of sweet fruit will float softly.
Apple green tea has an impression similar to that of black tea. There is little bitterness of the tea leaves, and the mellow taste spreads slowly at the end.
White peach green tea has a strong impact of popping sweet scent, but it is not sweet and is a solid green tea. It makes tea time like spring.
Grapefruit green tea has a refreshing scent and a slight sweet and sour taste, and is perfect when you want to refresh yourself.
The green tea series is recommended for people who don't usually drink green tea because you can choose it like black tea or herbal tea. In April, "Hyuganatsu Green Tea" and "Mizudashi Tea Bag" using the same tea leaves will be released. I wanted to chill it and drink it, so I'm looking forward to it too!
